Healthy Vanilla Turmeric Latte!


For those non coffee drinkers or caffeine free days, this Healthy Vanilla Turmeric Latte is the perfect morning beverage or even before bed nourishing tonic!

Unlike the usual vanilla lattes full of artificial flavourings and added sugars, this quick and easy do-it-yourself latte is all natural and full of super nutrition!

Keep inflammation down and the immune system up with the combination of super ingredients!

For those of you really restricting your sugar levels, switch the raw honey for a few drops of vanilla stevia or enjoy the savoury combination of spices.

 

Healthy Vanilla Turmeric Latte Recipe:

1/2 tsp turmeric ground

1/4 tsp cinnamon ground

1/4 tsp clove ground

1/2 tsp ginger, fresh and grated or dried and ground

1/2 tsp vanilla powder

1 cup almond or coconut milk

1 heaped tsp raw honey

 

Warm up the milk either in a coffee milk frother or over the stove top in a saucepan.

Pour a small amount of the hot milk into a mug and add all the ingredients, minus the honey.

Stir until well combined!!

Slowly pour in the remaining milk and then spoon in the honey!

Sprinkle with a little extra cinnamon on top.

Enjoy while its hot!!
