Power Cookie Dough Smoothie


I’m sure many of you are familiar with the extreme self discipline it takes to not consume half the cookie dough batter before it even has the chance to bake into delicious little cookies..

.. And then I’m sure you are familiar with the sick feeling after consuming far far to much refined sugar, unbaked flour, raw eggs and butter as your body tries to process this concoction. But it was so worth it?? Hmmm debatable!

This Power Cookie Dough Smoothie however is 100% worth it! Just whole food, delicious nourishment that will keep you powering with its nutrition packed properties and long lasting satiety (keeps you full for ages).

The brazil nuts give the smoothie that creamy, doughy flavour. Brazil nuts are a great source of selenium – HELLO healthy beautiful skin & hair + they are great for your immune system, thyroid, and more..

Gluten free, dairy free, sugar free, Your Holistic Metabolism Friendly  and super easy to make.

 

Power Cookie Dough Smoothie

Recipe:

4 Medjool Dates

1 cup Almond Milk

1/2 cup Raw Brazil Nuts, pre soaked

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

8 Ice Cubes

1 heaped tbs Vanilla Natural Protein Powder (I used BareBlends Vanilla Bean)

Cocao Nibs to top with (optional)

 

To create your ultimate Power Cookie Dough Smoothie just pit the dates and then blend all the ingredients (except the cocao nibs) together in a high speed blender until smooth and creamy.

Pour and enjoy your Power Cookie Dough Smoothie topped with my Deluxe Chocolate Gluten free Granola + cocao nibs for breakfast or with just the cocao nibs as a mid morning or afternoon pick me up.

To make the smoothie even thicker, blend in more ice or you could also add a frozen banana.
